Asbury Park Press says the redesigned 16th hole at Manasquan River Golf Club is “a thing of beauty”: Not only did they improve No. 16, they turned it into what might be both the most difficult and scenic hole at the Shore. Its first major test comes in September when Manasquan River hosts the New Jersey PGA Championship. The stroke average among the 15 who played the hole during the unveiling was 5.6.
