For Baltusrol members, hassle is well worth it, according to the Star-Ledger. The paper notes:

Since the beginning of the 20th century, Baltusrol has been the site of 15 major national tournaments — everything from the 1903 U.S. Women's Amateur to the 1993 U.S. Open, the last major professional championship played at the club founded in 1895. Only Oakmont Country Club in Pennsylvania has held as many national championships at Baltusrol, and that gives members the chance to measure their games against the legends of the sport.
