N.J. golf courses see 10.7 percent rise in business, bucking national decline: Golf Datatech LLC, a market researcher for the sport, estimates that overall golf rounds played nationally are down 3 percent to date this year. But in New Jersey, all private and public courses combined to see a 10.7 percent in June 2010 from the previous June. For the year, it’s up 5.7 percent.
