Longtime golf guru retiring | Daily Record | dailyrecord.com: David McGhee, the general manager of Fiddler’s Elbow Country Club, has been playing golf — or at least doing something golf-related — for nearly his entire life… The 69-year-old McGhee was slated to retire from his general manager position on Friday, leaving behind a country club that has undergone much change during that time.. The Whitehouse Station resident oversaw the expansion of the country club’s facilities from 27 holes to 54, a move that doubled the size of the golf course and made it the largest in the state. In 2009, the country club moved away from its corporate-only membership and opened its doors to families and individuals.
