First Tee: As sport’s participation declines, NJ Golf Foundation turns focus to new generation of players | NJ.com: As the new school year begins this week, 166 schools in New Jersey will begin with the Golf in Schools program as part of their physical education curriculum. Fostered by the New Jersey PGA section’s charity outreach organization — NJ Golf Foundation, which Angelillo is currently president of, has helped spur the introduction of the game in schools districts around the state — the program will open the year reaching more than 91,000 students, from elementary school to high school.
