Cream Ridge Golf Course upgraded: A new management company that has taken over the Cream Ridge Golf Course on Route 539 this spring is making “significant upgrades” to the public course. The state Department of Environmental Protection selected Bob and Linda Kraft of Meticulous Landscaping in Waretown to operate the 18-hole course in a contested bidding process that began in the summer. The Krafts held a grand opening celebration with 130 golfers this weekend… The state purchased the Route 539 property for $14 million from the Miscoski family in 2006. Under a lease agreement, the Miscoskis continued to operate the 143-acre golf course, which they opened in 1958, for the past six years. The remaining 43 acres, which was given to the township for future recreational purposes, continues to be leased for farming with no immediate plans for development.
