Raising funds and awareness for people with brain injury

(Millburn, NJ) Join Opportunity Project as they host their Annual Golf Classic on Monday, October 1, 2012 at Brooklake Country Club in Florham Park, NJ to support brain injury programs, awareness and prevention. Hosted by event co-chairs, Eileen Sudler, Sal Davino, Marshall Freidus, David Genova, Chris Johnson, Ted Stampoulos and Marc Berson the day features a brunch, golf scramble, cocktails, dinner and unique raffles and auctions. This year’s raffle and live auction prizes include autographed NFL Jets apparel and merchandise, a selection from designer Derek Lam’s Spring 2012 collection and a table for four at Rao’s in New York.

The Opportunity Project Clubhouse is a unique program created by and for adults with brain injuries who are seeking the next step in a journey to recovery. It is the first and only Clubhouse Program for people with brain injuries in the State of New Jersey. Beginning with 5 members it has now served over 500 individuals. The programs, handicap accessible building and extensive services are a national model for Clubhouses and to other community-based service programs for people with brain injury throughout the country. Providing an environment of support, challenge and choices, the ultimate goal is full reintegration back into the family, work and community after one sustains a brain injury. Opportunity Project’s motto- no one is turned away due to lack of funding- sets us apart from others in the brain injury field.
