New Jersey Herald: The National Park Service is accepting proposals to operate the nine-hole Cliff Park Golf Course within the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area with an eye toward reopening the course for public play this summer. The course, which first opened in 1913, had been included as part of the bigger effort to lease the Cliff Park Inn, but those efforts have been unsuccessful apparently because of the cost of restoring the inn. The lease for the golf course would be for 10 years and would include about 45.3 acres that make up the par 35 course.
