Liberty National Seeking FedEx Cup Playoffs
Jul 6 2010 in News by thestarter
NJ.com/Liberty National makes changes in hope of luring PGA Tour back: Tiger Woods called it “interesting.” Vijay Singh said it had “character.” And if you listened to their terse tone and gritting teeth, you knew those words weren’t compliments. It was their not-so-subtle way of saying, “We don’t like it here.” Liberty National could have easily turned its back on the PGA, let its millionaire celebrity membership play its own course and been done with it. But Liberty National did something most private clubs don’t do: It listened to what the players had to say. And that decision may result in a return visit from the FedEx Cup Playoffs’ first event.
